A man with brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a navy collared shirt, is sitting at a desk speaking with another person whose face is not visible. The man is holding a pen and a large beige folder, engaging in a serious conversation in an office setting. There is a tablet on the desk, and a trophy and a shield-shaped award are visible on a shelf on the wall behind him.

A purpose rooted in experience.

XCEL Performance and Fitness was created in 2016 with the goal of bridging the gap between physical therapy and a return to competition at a high level. My passion for this approach began long before I entered the profession. When I was in grade school, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a compound fracture of my femur. This was my first introduction to extensive physical therapy and the rehabilitation process.

Two young men are sitting at a wooden table engaged in conversation in a room with large windows, overlooking a green athletic field and track. One man has dark brown hair and is wearing a dark sports jacket, while the other has light brown hair and is dressed in a navy blue jacket with white accents. On the table are a tablet, a notebook with a pen, a water bottle, and a black item that looks like a fitness tracker or wristband.

Recovery is part of the journey.

After being discharged from physical therapy, I returned to sports, but I found myself missing the collaborative approach between rehabilitation and performance training. During my collegiate career, I experienced another significant setback when I tore my lateral meniscus, an injury that was influenced by the lingering effects and movement compensations associated with my previous leg injury. Going through that experience reinforced for me the importance of not only recovering from an injury, but also fully preparing the body to meet the demands of sport.

From the NBA to my community.

After spending six years working in the NBA and providing concierge physical therapy to several NBA players, I’ve returned to Oklahoma with the goal of bringing that same level of individualized care and performance-focused treatment to my community.

Care built around the individual.

My approach combines clinical expertise with performance-based therapy, focusing on movement quality while integrating the strength, conditioning, and performance demands specific to each individual. Whether the goal is returning from injury, improving performance, or continuing to perform at a high level, my goal is to provide individualized care that meets each person where they are and helps them get where they want to go.

The principle behind the practice

Meet you where you are.

Help you move toward
where you want to go.

“My goal is to bring a high level of care that meets each person where they are and helps them get to where they want to go.”
